In 2000, God gave Lee Trueblood a vision for starting an orphanage for the children in Africa who's parents have died of AIDS. She pursued that vision and was eventually able to start the House of Blessing in April, 2003, with her first orphan, Danny. Filipe and his family also were there to help. Six months later, in October, she found a house suitable for raising orphans in Beira, Mozambique. She got her next 6 orphans delivered to her in that same month. From there it has grown to 2 houses, 5 staff members, and 42 orphans: 20 girls and 22 boys. (read more...)
