Dreams for the Future

We met with the older children to worship and pray. Then to talk about what each one believes God is calling them to do, their dream. These children range in age from 12 to 17 years old (with the exception of Mama Lee!). This is what they told us:

Zito: To become a pilot and a preacher and go to Sudan to help the people there.

Marco: Become a preacher and an evangelist. Like Zito, also to go to Sudan.

Abilio: To get training and a job as a commercial airline pilot. Make lots of money to give to the poor.

Mangeze: Wants to help widows at a center, like Mama Lee.

Pascuale: Go to school an become an architect. He is asking God to help him design things to help people.

Raphael: To become a lawyer in Mozambique. One who is honest and brings justice to people. He also wants to preach part time.

Danny: To be a pastor in Mozambique. Help other pastors to overcome corruption in the churches.

Dauce: Wants to become a missionary to other African nations.

David: Become a builder. To design and build things for others.

Chico: To be a cook and own a restaurant in Mozambique. Then to feed the hungry.

John: Get a job with an NGO like Food For the Hungry. Visit the USA for 1 year.

Henrique: To become a good journalist and work for a newspaper.

Theresa: A missionary in another country (like Japan).

Nance: Take care of orphans (infants) in Mozambique.

Julia: To take care of orphans wherever God leads her.

Mareza: To get a good job so she can make money and help others.

Rosa: Wants to be like Mama Lee and help widows.

Julia: To become an evangelist.

Linda: Wants to be like Mama Lee (have an orphanage).

Eva: To find a job as a director or manager of an office.

Therasai: Become a missionary and go to Egypt.

Monica: To be a missionary and go wherever God sends her.

Martina: To be a bank teller. To have an orphanage. To become a preacher.

Jonina: To help the widows.

Flora: Wants to work on an airplane or in the airline business. To serve others.

Louisa: Become a missionary and go to India.

Mama Lee: To become the director of many orphanages run by her children.
